Professor of Economics at the European University Cyprus.

Representative of Kyrenia constituency under the banner of DISY since 2011.

Has previously served as:
Deputy Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on Financial and Budgetary Affairs.

Currently serves as:
- Deputy Chairperson of the House Standing Committee on Foreign and European Affairs.
- Member of the House Standing Committee on Educational Affairs and Culture, of the House Standing Committee on Human Rights and on Equal Opportunities for Men and Women and of the Ad Hoc House Committee on the Review and Update of the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives.
- Member of the delegation of the House to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA).
